Opportunities with VVDB

VVDB offers unique opportunities for system of care and wraparound process work, working directly for and with the company. VVDB is constantly looking for new individuals who possess key characteristics and values who want to take their professional work to new levels.

Current Job Opportunities

Bi-Lingual Consultant. VVDB is currently looking for a bi-lingual (Spanish) consultant with a bachelor's degree and experience working with families.  This full-time position with responsibility for training the system of care and wraparound process in sites, co-training in VVDB local and national workshops, and with delivering services and supports to local communities. Qualifications required: Proven writing and training skills and extensive personal or professional experience with the system of care and/or wraparound process. Pay scale is based on experience levels.

Outside Consultant Opportunities. VVDB is constantly searching for qualified independent consultants who are established system of care and wraparound process consultants. VVDB has a number of ongoing projects where independent consultants are contracted perform key aspects of the efforts. VVDB requires that all consultants be established as independent contractors, having their own insurance and business licenses. VVDB follows all labor and IRS laws on use of independent contractors.

Educational and Research Opportunities

Internships.

VVDB is planning on establishing a small number of internships based in Colorado. These internships are for graduate students who are planning on working in system of care and wraparound process areas. Depending on background, internship stipends may be available. VVDB offers a special range of benefits to graduate students. Both, Drs. Rast and VanDenBerg have extensive University level teaching experience and VVDB currently collaborates with a number of major universities.

Independent Studies.

VVDB is establishing highly individualized opportunities for students who have the ability to do independent studies. VVDB has extensive contacts around the U.S. and Canada, which provide local experiences in the system of care and the wraparound process for students.

Dissertations.

VVDB is especially interested in providing and facilitating dissertation topics and opportunities to qualified graduate students. VVDB principals have personally worked with graduate schools and mentored a number of students into dissertation topics and have then provided settings in which to complete the research. In addition, VVDB is planning on publishing qualified dissertation-based articles in the VVDB Journal of System of Care and the Wraparound Process.
