The Professional Wraparound Facilitator

Wraparound has been steadily evolving for the past fifteen years. John VanDenBerg, Ph.D. and Jim Rast, Ph.D. have developed and tested an exciting value driven process for teaching wraparound facilitators and others the basics of good wraparound. This workshop focuses on the hands on skills necessary to support good outcomes for children and families. This workshop spotlights the most effective innovations and lessons from the past decade and strategies for taking wraparound to scale within systems of care.

  • Learn different methods for planning, tailored to the situation and culture of the family.
  • Learn to develop crisis and safety plans

Who should attend:

The training is designed for staff and family members who want to become proficient in wraparound facilitation, and for supervisors and managers of agencies implementing the wraparound process who want to understand the details of how the process should work. This is a highly detailed basic wraparound skills workshop and is not designed for those who have had a great deal of training on the process.
